What We Stand For

ALUNAYA – A Piece of the World, Made Wearable

stuck_tragbar

ALUNAYA stands for clothing and accessories born from genuine exchange, traditional craftsmanship, and a mindful development process. Our pieces range from simple everyday items to expressive silhouettes with artisanal and cultural influences.

We are moving away from anonymous mass production towards small, transparent production structures. The people we work with – women's cooperatives, indigenous communities, artisans, and small
tailoring families – are the heart of ALUNAYA.
Their skills, perspectives, and knowledge shape every single piece.

The Magic of the Moment – Our Way of Working

At ALUNAYA, design doesn't happen behind closed doors. When we travel, we let ourselves be guided – by the fabrics we find, the pulse of the places, and the people whose stories touch our hearts.

Whether it's centuries-old Ajrakh print, hand-woven Khadi, or delicate embroidery: Our designs are created in dialogue with artisans and partners. From this exchange grows clothing that makes connections visible – between people, material, origin, and craft.

What We Believe In

We see ALUNAYA as a brand in motion. Every encounter, every material, and every new experience expands our understanding of craftsmanship, fair production, and responsible design.

Conscious DesignWe don't follow fast trends. Our pieces are created slowly, thoughtfully, and with intention.

Connected to the OriginWe work with what the earth gives us: cotton, sheep's wool, silk, and hemp. Textile remnants and second-hand treasures also get a new lease on life with us.

Genuine EncountersWe rely on genuine relationships instead of anonymous production. Fairly agreed prices, respect, and transparency form the basis of our collaboration – and contribute to strengthening local structures.

From Person to PersonOur partners are not just part of the production, but part of the story of each piece. We meet them as equals, listen, and pay attention to what is needed locally.

Preserving Tradition & CraftsmanshipWe seek the authentic in craftsmanship: slow weaving, rhythmic printing, patient embroidery. Ancient techniques flow into our collections – as a living heritage that we carry forward together.

We are not perfect, but we walk this path with open hearts, keen eyes, and a willingness to learn every day.
